Chiropractic Manipulation
Chiropractic manipulation refers to the specific manipulation a doctor of chiropractic applies to vertebra that have abnormal movement patterns or fail to function normally, called a "subluxation". The objective of the chiropractic treatment is to reduce the subluxation, which results in increased range of motion, reduced nerve irritability and improved function. This procedure effectively reduces pain and muscle spasm caused by the subluxation, allowing freedom of movement and normal, healthy activity.
